Family Registration
There is a non-refundable $55 family registration fee due each calendar year. Registration fee benefits include:
Tuition
Payments for all classes are due in full upon enrollment. Monthly tuition will vary based upon the day you choose to attend and on the number of classes available in a calendar month. Tuition will be pro-rated when you start your first month in the middle of a session. We do not pro-rate for pre-scheduled absences (vacations, etc.), but offer free make-ups!
Once enrolled in monthly lessons (1, 2, or 3 times per week):
Tuition will automatically be charged on the 21st of each month to your credit card on file. (EX: February tuition charges will be processed on January 21st.)
Charges will continue automatically each month until cancellation notice is provided to HSC. HSC offers in-house credits for cancellations in lieu of refunds.
Should you wish to use an alternate method of payment, we will be happy to accommodate you. Classes with tuition payments not received by the 25th of the month will be canceled effective the next month, so that spots can be made available for continuing students.
There is a $30 fee for each returned check.

Intensive (Two-Week) Classes:
Monthly Classes:
Instructor Information
Parent/instructor communication is vital to each student’s success! If you’re interested in communicating with your child’s instructor, then stop by the office or visit our website to fill out a communicator form. Since our lessons run consecutively there may not always be time before or after your child’s lesson to speak directly with the instructor.
All instructor requests will be considered, but may not always be honored due to scheduling constraints and class availability.
When an instructor is absent, a substitute will be provided. Please be open-minded about new instructors/substitutes so that your child will be as well. All teachers are trained in the same curriculum; therefore, swimming with a different instructor will not hinder your child’s progress.
Award & Skills System
Students enrolled in a 2-week session will receive a skill update and certificate at the end of the session.
Students in monthly classes will have skills updated and e-mailed on a monthly basis. Level promotion awards are given on an as earned basis and are given by the instructor at the end of the month. Once your child receives an award, please contact the office so we can assist you in scheduling a class in their new level!
Potty Policy
HSC requires all swimmers under the age of 3 to wear A REUSABLE SWIM DIAPER provided by HSC. Children over the age of 3 who are not fully potty trained must also wear a reusable swim diaper provided by HSC. The first diaper is complimentary and additional ones can be purchased in the office. Disposable swim diapers may not be used.
In the event that a child (who does not meet the criteria above) has an accident during their lesson, they will be required to adhere to the potty policy. Length of time to be determined by HSC management.
Refunds & Cancellation Policy
HSC has a No Refund policy. In-house credits will be offered for cancellations in lieu of refunds. Any cancellation made within 72 hours of the beginning of a session or after the session has begun is subject to a $20.00 cancellation fee per student, per class.
Health Concerns
Please notify us of any severe allergies your child has.
If your child has a fever, diarrhea or a contagious illness, please stay at home until the illness has subsided. If you are unsure, please consult your physician for the proper course of action.
Please avoid milk, dairy products, spicy foods, and large meals before lessons.
Please remove band-aids before entering the pool, keep your child’s nails trimmed, and hair pulled back.
We recommend consulting with your physician about treating your child’s ear after their swimming lesson.
If your child has any disabilities (physical, mental or learning) or previous traumatic swimming experiences, please notify Houston Swim Club prior to the beginning of their swim lessons.
Facility Rules
The following are not permitted on HSC premises:
Our insurance requires a responsible adult to remain on HSC premises for the duration of the lesson. Parents are responsible for their children before, during, and after lessons.
In order to avoid disrupting classes in session, we require parents to view lessons from our observation rooms.
Parent/Child classes: Please wait for your instructor to give you permission to enter the water.
Yes, we swim when it rains!
HSC communicates with current, former, and future customers by e-mail, phone, and SMS. You may opt out of any of these communications by special request.
Photos/videos are taken at HSC and any photos/videos taken of your child(ren) may be used for HSC’s training and marketing purposes. Names will never be used in any promotional materials, on the website or any other media that might make use of the photos or videos. You may request that photos not be taken of your child(ren) by giving notice to Houston Swim Club.
By agreeing to these policies, you authorize any representative of HSC to have your child(ren) treated in any medical emergency during their participation in HSC’s swimming program. I understand that once booking Monthly Classes, tuition will automatically be charged on the 21st of each month to your credit card on file. Charges will continue automatically each month until written cancellation notice is provided to HSC. I am responsible for payment whether or not my student attends classes until I notify this facility in writing to drop my student from class(es).
I represent and warrant that if I am purchasing something or paying for a service from this facility or from other merchants through this facility that (i) any credit card information I supply is true and complete, (ii) charges incurred by me will be honored by my credit card company or financial institution, and (iii) I will pay the charges incurred by me at the posted prices, including any applicable taxes, fees, and penalties.
Should I dispute a charge through my financial institution this will constitute a breach of contract possibly resulting in, but not limited to, penalties, additional fees, collection, legal action, and/or termination of any and/or all current and future services.
